1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using ModPilot's website, dashboard, or API (the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. The Services
ModPilot provides an AI-powered content moderation platform that lets you configure moderation workflows, route content to AI models and human reviewers, and receive moderation decisions through a dashboard and API. We may update, enhance, or modify the Services over time.
3. Accounts and API keys
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys, and for all activity that occurs under them. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. You must configure appropriate permissions and IP restrictions for keys you issue.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services to violate any applicable law or third-party right.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Services.
- Resell or provide the Services in a way that competes with ModPilot without authorization.
- Submit content you do not have the right to process through the Services.
5. Customer content
You retain all rights to the content you submit for moderation ("Customer Content"). You grant ModPilot a limited license to process Customer Content solely to provide the Services, including routing it to the AI providers you configure and maintaining audit records of moderation decisions.
6. Third-party AI providers
The Services integrate with third-party AI providers that you select and configure. Your use of those providers through ModPilot is subject to their terms. ModPilot is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or decisions of third-party models.
7. Moderation decisions
ModPilot returns moderation decisions with confidence scores and reasoning to assist your team. You are responsible for your own content policies and for any final action taken on content. Moderation decisions are provided "as is" and should be reviewed in line with your policies and legal obligations.
8. Fees
Paid plans are billed according to the pricing agreed in your order or subscription. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.
9. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ModPilot will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Services.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Services in a way that risks harm to ModPilot, other users, or third parties.
12. Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
